Pet Wellness Programs in League City

Tailored Healthcare to Keep Your Pets Healthy & Well

Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital offers a progressive new approach to veterinary care. Our wellness program embraces a focus on preventative medicine based on the specific life-stage of your pet. Each patient is assessed individually based on factors such as their species, breed, age, and any environmental challenges. Next, we offer recommendations for prevention, nutrition, and diagnostic workups that are appropriate for your pet.

Comprehensive Education for Pet Owners

Our role is to educate you on procedures and medications that are especially beneficial for your pet. This allows us to be more flexible with our recommendations and gives you more control of your pets' healthcare.

We can advise you on the following, and more:

We will make our recommendations after a thorough physical exam of your pet. We can also use diagnostic technology, such as x-rays and ultrasounds, and our in-house laboratory can process bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal tests, skin scrapes and smears, fine needle aspirations, and much more. These tests can give our League City veterinarians a baseline of your pet’s health which we can measure against any deviations that occur when your pet is ill. This allows us to better understand and plan for your pet’s healthcare needs. From this, we can tailor our wellness program and your education as a pet owner to these specifics.

Regular Preventative Care

The key to Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital’s wellness program is an emphasis on the annual health examination. Every year when your pet comes into our office, he or she will receive a comprehensive physical exam and age appropriate ancillary diagnostics (such as blood pressure screening, parasite tests, and bloodwork) to screen for early signs of disease.

For participants in the wellness program, any vaccinations due at the time of the annual exam will be given at current participant rates. Patients with health-related concerns will be recommended more advanced diagnostics when needed. More frequent reevaluations will most likely become necessary for pets with ongoing illnesses.
